Top 5 Travel and Local Apps in Finland Q3 2023 Performance

In Q3 2023, Finland's top travel and local apps exhibited a range of performance trends. Here are the highlights based on Sensor Tower data:

VR Matkalla saw its weekly downloads fluctuate, starting at around 12.5K in late June and dipping to a low of 6K in mid-August, before modestly recovering to approximately 7K by the end of September. The app maintained a relatively stable number of weekly active users, hovering around the 42K-46K mark throughout the quarter.

HSL - tickets & route planner experienced a decline in weekly downloads from 11.3K in late June to about 4.9K by the end of September. However, its weekly active users increased significantly from around 88.7K to a peak of 102.7K in early September, before settling at 96.3K by the quarter's end.

TIER Electric scooters downloads showed a downward trend, starting at 8K and dropping to around 3K by late September. Despite this, the app's weekly active users remained fairly consistent, fluctuating between 33.7K and 40.2K.

EasyPark - Parking made easy had stable download numbers, starting at 4.5K and maintaining around 4K towards the end of September. The app's weekly active users remained steady, hovering around 30K throughout the quarter.

Finnair witnessed a slight decline in downloads, from 5.5K at the start of the quarter to about 4.5K by the end. The number of weekly active users showed a downward trend initially but recovered towards the end of the quarter, stabilizing around 9.7K.
